Summary:
Process and ship customer orders in an accurate and timely manner while maintaining a neat and orderly warehouse.
Back up other positions within the warehouse.
Understanding of manufacturing processes within a distribution center.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
include the following.
Print pick tickets, pull orders, maintain orders as necessary in timely and accurate manner Check orders, package shipments timely and accurately Ship packages using various shipping methods or common carriers Assist with inventory control and cycle counts Store items in neat and orderly fashion in adherence to warehouse procedures Be back up for other duties in the warehouse Occasional pick up/drop off of materials to and from off-site locations Maintain safe work environment Other duties as assigned Skills / Trainings / Certifications / Degrees Ability to operate forklift and other assigned vehicles Ability to use PC and learn company computer system Manufacturing disciplines Warehouse basics Competencies Maintain regular attendance Energetic and work in fast-paced environment Ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds Ability to work in non-controlled temperature environment and high humidity.
Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods Education and /or Experience High school diploma or GED.
Prior shipping experience is a plus Valid KY driver's license Job Type:
